“Why do you say yes to the man who is courting you?”
One time when hubby and I were roaming around at National Bookstore my eyes were hooked up of one of the book that was displayed in their bookshelves entitled “How to keep your Hubby happy”, then I grabbed it then ask my boyfriend to buy it and he answered in his sweet silly ways with “I’m already happy, you don’t need that” but still I insist because I want that book and I want him to keep happy. After a minute of cuddling him, he finally bought it for me (Thank you, hubby!).
The next day, I started reading the book and I found out that the content of the book is not yet applicable for me because I am not yet married, yet It opened my eyes and heart to many different things that we need to learn about two lives, unite in one flesh. The book talks about marriage but there is only one question that I paused with, the question is “Why do you say yes to the man who is courting you? And why do you say yes to your future husband?” The very first questions makes my mind wonder why I say “yes” to be my hubby’s girlfriend? Then I started to reminisce the courting process. Then I grabbed my note and write down everything I consider my reasons that I said “yes” to him.
Before, in my teenage days I don’t know what will be my ideal boyfriend. I don’t know how to evaluate things out, but when I started to prayed to God everything was revealed to me.
HERE ARE THE REASONS WHY I CHOSE HIM TO BE MY BOYFRIEND:
He has the heart that is so similar to my father.
- He has a genuine heart that would truly appreciate you whether your in a good mood or not.
- He has a very charming smile and the eyes that captures my whole heart.
- He is so kind and responsible in every ways.
- He knows when I’m in troubled and started to feel me better. (He did that many times)
- He is not perfect, but his imperfections makes everything so adorable because he is so humble to accept critics and appreciation.
- He always made me proud and happy.
- Above all, he love God, he love to serve God’s people, he love his family and he loves me so much.

Flashback Friday! It is..
Learn from the best!
It was last July of 2014 when I found a very interesting seminar on my Facebook account. The seminar is called “How to Think Like A Multi Millionaire Mind and How to become Rich” by Mr. John Calub, in my mind was “ahhh.. again! This is all about money and money” but then as I spoke to my boyfriend over the phone I told him about what I saw in Facebook (that’s my usual thing) I was not thinking that he would like to attend then the next morning I went to SM here in our city (Cagayan de Oro City) bought us 2 tickets for that seminar, even if I am not that interested still I accompanied my boyfriend since he had undergone an appendectomy a week before. He traveled 2hrs to our place when the time come.. Huuuala! John Calub came in, he was just a typical man. BUT!! Along the way, as the seminar goes on my thoughts were changed from “not so wanty-wanty” to “very hyper and with full of bliss”
FIRST IMPRESSION DON’T LAST
All my thoughts, my negative thoughts about his seminar was gone just like a bubble, I thought It was all about money but It was not! That seminar changed our life, and our mindset. From weak to strong. From pessimistic to optimistic. We are so bless because without that man, without Mr. John Calub, without his love to help other people to open up their mind for the brighter future ahead, we would never be what we are now. Especially my boyfriend, he has now the zeal that he had not before. He has now a much more brighter smiles that he had not before. We both had fun and we learn a lot from that seminar. If John Calub would hosts again a seminar here in Cagayan de Oro City, surely we I would never have second thoughts to attend, like what I did before. 
On our third time!
I’ve been attending Feast of Tabernacles many years. But, from the day I have a boyfriend in the church my Feast of Tabernacles makes more meaningful and bliss as it was before. Being with my man for a week, celebrating together God’s Holy Feast, makes even more special. The days went well, even though we both have a lot of tasks to do during that days, still we manage to talk, to cuddle and to inspire each other in some ways or another.
I am so blessed because, I don’t only have a family, and a friend, I also have someone that makes me feel so special and love.
My boyfriend is the living proof that prayers and dreams do come true! I am blessed!
The Feast of Tabernacles started and ended well, with full of spiritual learning, and the enjoyment that all the Feast Goers feel.
We are now looking forward to have a great Feast of Tabernacles, next year!
As easy as one-two-three?
Who can tell me that long distance relationship is as easy as one-two-three? And who can tell me that it’s hard as chewing a meat without your teeth? You might think I’m crazy.. Well, I think I am. 🙂
Bang! Smash! Splash… Many of my friends or from the people I talked to, tells me that “Whaaaat? Long distance relationship? Are you crazy? No! Never! I won’t dwell on that kind of relationship…! “But, seriously, your friends might tell you with those harsh words, yet some will tell you with those sweet silly blah-blah-blah about being into that kind of relationship— the LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP.
If you asked me about my thoughts about LDR, I would tell you
that it’s a little bit hard, and a little bit easy, but not as easy as counting numbers nor doing make-up’s.
For two years now, I am in love, and deeply in love with the man who is 88km’s away from me, not too far you might think but yes! I do feel all you grievances. My boyfriend isn’t that far but we are also doing the things most of the LDR couples are doing. Phone calls everyday (thanks to unlimited promo), long night conversation about life, plans, dreams, love and sweet nothings. We hug each other by our own pillows, and It drives me crazy every time I miss him. See? That’s the reality of being in LDR. Hard isn’t it?
First, you might think twice or maybe even a one hundred fold times, whether you’ll allow yourself to engage from this kind of relationship, but if you know, you feel in your heart, and you prayed for it, WHY NOT? Why not, do a sacrifice for the one you truly love? ‘Coz you are not the only one who is suffering from all those LDR SICKNESS. He also is feeling that way, yet we women are not always aware of that because men always hide their emotions. Why not, engage your heart with LDR? If it’s a God’s given relationship, don’t be afraid… soon as the relationship becomes more beautiful, there you will realize that it’s worth the SACRIFICE, worth the wait and you will know at the end that God is making your love story, by sea, by air or by land.
TRUST, LOVE, FAITH, and PRAYER are the keys to have a long lasting relationship… a LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP.

You! You, my dear…If you are like me, and like of those other LDR couples, let us continue to be brave, continue to be strong, and let us continue to believe that no matter what it takes true love will finds a way, and God is making our beautiful love story.

A message that brings SMILE…
I woke up this morning thinking that this day is just one fine ordinary day, but It changed, when I received a message from my boyfriend/bestfriend (next to God), the message he sent bring smiles to my face all day long. 🙂 And theres no single moment that I frown.
Heres the message:
“I think of you always and I have a thousand things to say to you. You are everything to me. I could cover sheets of paper and not say half that I feel”
I really don’t except that I will be receiving such message like this as a morning greeting, because I am used of “Good morning honey. I love you infinite. Mwah mwah” He really made my morning so wonderful. Infact, when I went to the market, I smiled. Upon going home, still I am smiling. When I’m eating, I smiled. Everything I do, I smiled. It’s just simple yet full of meaning.
I really thank God for giving me such a wonderful man. He never fails to make me happy, I thank God for having him every single day of my life. I just hope and pray that the love will never fade. ~
